Just killed it at a spin class… 18.8 miles! Feels good to get back into a routine. I’ve been so thrown off by my trip to Vegas. My body is finally starting to adjust to being home.
My intake today:
Breakfast - (out of eggs, wah) 3 turkey sausage links, 1 slice wheat toast + 1 tbsp PB and cinnamon
Snack - TONS of cherries
Lunch - Whole grain pasta in spicy tomato sauce with hot peppers, pan-seared chicken + side salad with oranges and strawberries in a lemon vinaigrette
Pre-workout snack - Banana
Post-workout snack - Handful of roasted soynuts
Dinner - About to devour some delicious thai green curry with chicken and brown rice and veggggiesss
Annnd I’m finally back from my trip to Vegas! I am still so exhausted and thrown off by the time difference and traveling. I had such a great time with my boyfriend and all of his friends! Did a little bit of gambling, laying out by the pool, drinking, partying and lots and lots of eating!!! On our last day we went to a $75 per person buffet…it was insane. Never seen a buffet that big. The dessert alone was worth the price. Plus all the girls got free champagne on the house since it was Mother’s day :)
But now it’s back to reality. I am officially going back to the gym tomorrow (had finals at school and heading to work soon, so couldn’t go today). My intake so far today…
Breakfast - Chobani greek yogurt
Lunch - Summer corn chowder soup + whole grain baguette, strawberry and poppyseed salad with blueberries, oranges, strawberries, pineapples, pecans, and chicken
So far have had a productive day… Went to class at 9:30 this morning, then came home. Just ran two miles and then biked around the park for 20 minutes! Now I have to go get ready for work, which is sad because it’s absolutely gorgeous outside today!
My intake so far…
Breakfast - Chobani greek yogurt (dark chocolate and raspberry one)
Snack - Half of a whole grain roll with turkey, avocado, swiss cheese, sweet peppers, spinach and onions + an apple on the side
Post-workout - The other half of the sandwich ^ plus 8 oz. of Green Machine Naked juice
Dinner - We will see :) but probably either a big salad with chicken or just a chicken breast with veggies on the side!

Haven’t been very good at updating, sorry! I leave for Vegas in 10 days. Crazy!!

Breakfast - 1 slice whole grain bread, 1 egg + two egg whites, turkey sausage
Snack - 1 cup sliced strawberries
Lunch - Whole grain wild rice with lentils, pan-seared chicken, asparagus, and green beans
Pre-workout snack - 1 banana + 1 tbsp peanut butter
Dinner - Leftovers from lunch (chicken, asparagus, green beans) and a greek yogurt

Cycling class, done! 27.2 kilometers = 16.9 miles in 50 minutes! Felt great.
Intake today…
Breaky - 1 egg + 3 egg whites scrambled, 1 whole wheat english muffin with 1 tbsp canola oil butter and cinnamon
Lunch - Baked chicken with herbs and seasoning, steamed asparagus
Snack - 1 orange
Dinner - Smoothie with acai, blueberries, raspberries, yogurt, 1/2 scoop peanut butter
Post-workout - Quest bar
Probably going to eat again soon… thinking about sliced apples and PB but we’ll see :)
Got new running shoes today… they are Sketchers Go Run 2 for men (the store didn’t carry women’s and I thought the colors were cool so whatever) and they are awesome! Worked on upper body at the gym today and then ran 2 miles on the treadmill in my new shoes :)

Breakfast - 1/2 cup oatmeal with lowfat milk, honey, cinnamon & a cup of OJ
Pre-workout snack - Quest Bar (Brownie, my favorite flavor!)
Post-workout/lunch - Shake with acai, raspberries, blueberries, yogurt, 1/2 scoop PB
Dinner - TBA
It’s pretty nice out today (mid-50s and mostly sunny) so I took advantage of the weather and went for a jog… three miles! Then I was feeling motivated so I took my dog for a walk :)
My intake so far today…
Breaky - 1 nectarine, 1 bottle cafe coco (coconut water + shot of espresso…so good)
Pre-workout - 1 slice whole grain toast + 1 tbsp cinnamon sugar butter
Post-workout - 1/2 a protein shake (cocoa, banana, nonfat milk, protein) + quest bar
Lunch - Babybel light cheese wedge, 1 egg + 5 tbsp egg whites scrambled
Dinner - TBA
Breakfast - 1 egg, 4 tbsp egg whites on a slice of whole grain toast
Post-workout snack - Banana
Lunch - Roasted chicken, broccoli, yams, lentil salad, no salt tortilla chips with fresh guacamole and triscuits with hummus, dark chocolate… yeah, this lunch was huge, but me and my boy got all this food from the amish farmer’s market and had a feast!
Snack - Almonds
Dinner - Grilled chicken with a tomato & eggplant glaze. I had a sweet potato on the side to go with it but honestly I’m so full from lunch, not gonna force it down and make myself feel sick.
Today in class we warmed up with a good 15 minutes of stretching, then ran 5 laps, and did three sets of circuit training (squat jumps, pushups, and planks). I have a really horrible cold and sore throat, so this really took a LOT out of me.
My intake today…
Breakfast - 1 egg, 4 tbsp egg whites, 2 cups coffee
Lunch - Blackened chicken with bruschetta, salad with shaved parmesan, peppers, + croutons in light oil & vinegar
Snack - Baby spinach, chopped beets, goat cheese, cranberries in honey balsamic
Dinner - Oven roasted turkey with spinach, sweet peppers, onions on a wheat roll
Snack - Handful of almonds, couple squares of dark chocolate
Breakfast - One egg, 6 tbsp egg whites + 3 turkey sausage links
Lunch - Seasoned baked chicken + sauteed spinach
Dinner - Lean ground chicken burger patty with avocado + steamed zucchini
Snacks - A few bites of a corn muffin, cappuccino, some chocolate milk, almonds, a few triscuits with spinach & artichoke hummus
