I&amp;#8217;ve been so thrown off by my trip to Vegas. My body is finally starting to adjust to being home.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;My intake today:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Breakfast - (out of eggs, wah) 3 turkey sausage links, 1 slice wheat toast + 1 tbsp PB and cinnamon&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Snack - TONS of cherries&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Lunch - Whole grain pasta in spicy tomato sauce with hot peppers, pan-seared chicken + side salad with oranges and strawberries in a lemon vinaigrette&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Pre-workout snack - Banana&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Post-workout snack - Handful of roasted soynuts&lt;/p&gt;

I am still so exhausted and thrown off by the...</title><description>&lt;p&gt;Annnd I&amp;#8217;m finally back from my trip to Vegas! I am still so exhausted and thrown off by the time difference and traveling. I had such a great time with my boyfriend and all of his friends! Did a little bit of gambling, laying out by the pool, drinking, partying and lots and lots of eating!!! On our last day we went to a $75 per person buffet&amp;#8230;it was insane. Never seen a buffet that big. The dessert alone was worth the price. Plus all the girls got free champagne on the house since it was Mother&amp;#8217;s day :)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;But now it&amp;#8217;s back to reality. I am officially going back to the gym tomorrow (had finals at school and heading to work soon, so couldn&amp;#8217;t go today). My intake so far today&amp;#8230;&lt;/p&gt;

When I get to work, I&amp;#8217;m going to grab an orange as well. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Three days til Vegas! I weighed myself today for the first time since January. 148.4&amp;#8230; I&amp;#8217;m pleased, but thought I had lost a little more. I constantly have to listen to her bitching about her weight and how fat she feels all the time. Now, my mom is definitely not fat, but she isn&amp;#8217;t exactly slender either&amp;#8230; I will say that I think she looks pretty damn good for her age and the fact that she eats fast food 3+ times a week and never exercises. But she was recently dumped by the guy she was seeing and now she is on this &amp;#8220;health kick&amp;#8221;&amp;#8230; so she decided to start up Weight Watchers (which she&amp;#8217;s done off and on for the past few years and never has consistent results). &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;So I&amp;#8217;m sitting here with her tonight watching TV and she pulls out a Twinkie&amp;#8230; just so you know, it&amp;#8217;s a Weight Watchers brand twinkie but it&amp;#8217;s still a fucking twinkie nonetheless.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I roll my eyes but keep my mouth shut.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;30 minutes later (it&amp;#8217;s 11:00 at night here FYI) she pulls out an ice cream bar! I go, &amp;#8220;Mom, enough with the ice cream before bed!&amp;#8221; and she goes, &amp;#8220;It&amp;#8217;s Weight Watchers!!!&amp;#8221; as if that makes it okay. It&amp;#8217;s just so delusional. Just because it&amp;#8217;s got the Weight Watchers brand name on it does NOT make it even remotely healthy. That shit is so full of fat and sugar!  But she thinks that because it fits her allotted points for the day, it&amp;#8217;s okay to eat that right before bed&amp;#8230; not to mention she does this every. single. night.&lt;/p&gt;

Just ran two miles and then biked around the park for 20 minutes! Now I have to go get ready for work, which is sad because it&amp;#8217;s absolutely gorgeous outside today!&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;My intake so far&amp;#8230;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Breakfast - Chobani greek yogurt (dark chocolate and raspberry one)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Snack - Half of a whole grain roll with turkey, avocado, swiss cheese, sweet peppers, spinach and onions + an apple on the side&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Post-workout - The other half of the sandwich ^ plus 8 oz. of Green Machine Naked juice&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Dinner - We will see :) but probably either a big salad with chicken or just a chicken breast with veggies on the side!&lt;/p&gt;

Worked on upper body at the gym today and then ran 2 miles on the treadmill in my new shoes :)&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;About to leave for the gym now, hoping to get into the 6:30&amp;#160;pm spinning class that I&amp;#8217;m currently waitlisted for! I am sooo tired too and struggling to stay awake. Ugh! But I&amp;#8217;ve got to get my workout in. If I can&amp;#8217;t get into the class, I&amp;#8217;m just gonna do some lifting and cardio after.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;For lent, I decided to give up chocolate&amp;#8230;that means NO chocolate for 40 days! I don&amp;#8217;t know how I&amp;#8217;m gonna make it but I&amp;#8217;m gonna try. Last night I ate a brownie sundae right before midnight so I could enjoy one last chocolate treat before I can&amp;#8217;t have any more. Already this morning I was so tempted to put chocolate chips in my oatmeal but then I remembered I couldn&amp;#8217;t. Sad!&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I went back to the gym last night (yes, I&amp;#8217;ve been MAJORLY slacking). I wasn&amp;#8217;t feeling great so I skipped the cardio and just weight trained, but doing something is better than nothing right? It was still a solid 40 minute workout. I have to work all night tonight but I have my diet and fitness class at school tomorrow so I&amp;#8217;m guaranteed a good workout in the morning tomorrow! &lt;p&gt;Lunch - Roasted chicken, broccoli, yams, lentil salad, no salt tortilla chips with fresh guacamole and triscuits with hummus, dark chocolate&amp;#8230; yeah, this lunch was huge, but me and my boy got all this food from the amish farmer&amp;#8217;s market and had a feast!&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Snack - Almonds&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Dinner - Grilled chicken with a tomato &amp;amp; eggplant glaze. I had a sweet potato on the side to go with it but honestly I&amp;#8217;m so full from lunch, not gonna force it down and make myself feel sick.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Today in class we warmed up with a good 15 minutes of stretching, then ran 5 laps, and did three sets of circuit training (squat jumps, pushups, and planks). The guy...</title><description>&lt;p&gt;I was pretty proud of my diet today considering how horrendously I ate all last week. The guy I&amp;#8217;m seeing is really into fitness and eating healthy&amp;#8212;perfect for me&amp;#8212;and he is such good motivation because his body is already sooo fit! I am making a promise to myself to have the body I want by summer! Not that far away :) So with that being said, I&amp;#8217;m going to list a few things I want to strive to achieve every day and/or week&amp;#8230;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- I promise to do some form of exercise (cardio/weight training) minimum three days a week&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- I promise to eat all 5 servings of fruits and veggies every day (that&amp;#8217;s two servings fruit, three servings vegetable)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- I promise to start cooking for myself more than getting take out&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- I promise to start experimenting with recipes and cooking&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- I promise to eat unprocessed, raw, whole foods&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;- I promise to start shopping at the farmer&amp;#8217;s market more often&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;That&amp;#8217;s all I can think of for now :)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Time for bed! For breakfast tomorrow, I plan on having 1 whole egg, 4 tbsp egg whites and a slice of whole grain toast topped with 1 tbsp peanut butter and half a sliced banana. Yum! &lt;p&gt;Snack - Baby spinach, chopped beets, goat cheese, cranberries in honey balsamic&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Dinner - Oven roasted turkey with spinach, sweet peppers, onions on a wheat roll&lt;/p&gt;
